“Poems don’t make any sense.”

-Andy Barton

Paper

It’s grayness dawns a new light

Unlike one in it’s previous life

Unused

Untouched

Unloved

It sit’s there with it’s razor edge

Light as a feather

Yet it holds a power unlike any-other

Poems

It rambles on

It makes no sense

It has no meaning

It’s just nonsense

The tree means life

A rock means death

Why can’t poems be normal english

Writers Block

The trees

The birds

The sun

I can’t find anything to write about

My friends

My family

My pets

I can’t find anything to write about

Happiness

Sadness

Life

Or Death

I can’t find anything to write about

My friends

The birds

Happiness

Now I’m just repeating myself

I can’t find anything to write about

I wrote all of these in under thirty minutes. The first one came to my mind because I feel like we don’t actually use paper that much in writing, and I feel that poems usually are written by hand. The second one I wrote because I feel like most poems don’t make a lot of sense. The authors always try to hard to make a deeper meaning. In my second poem I tried to create a rhyming scheme, and I found that writing without rhymes is much easier. My third poem I wrote was about writers block. I decided to write about this because I was experiencing a writers block. From writing these three poems I found that if you think about what you want to write about everything else easy.
