Why book are the past, present and future
Books can be seen as a piece of paper with two covers and filled with paper, or they can be seen as someone’s life or a story that you are able to carry in your hand. It is all how open you are to reading book and wether you believe they can make a difference in your life that matters. Your mindset is what runs your mind and what opens you up to different things wether it’s a book or something you encounter in life. You can either look at it as what it seems, or you can see the deeper meaning of what is within.
All books you can learn something from. From DR. Seuss to the best writers in the world, there is a lesson to be learned from them. In almost every book there is a challenge or something getting in the way of the ultimate goal and how the challenge is pursued and the path it takes can always teach you something. In the book Walden, a mans life is put onto a piece of paper and he shows you what has made his life better and worse so that you can put it into your life for the better. You extract the ideals and from what he has portrayed to you and make them your own. As Henry David Thoreau once said, “Books are treasured wealth of the world and the fit inheritance of generations of nations.” Books are what hold meaning in others peoples life’s and are journals of the past.
Books carry the story’s of what people have written throughout generations. They are the foundation for life in the past, present and future. We see this in the Bible today, it has brought a story that was made years and years ago and now we still read it and use the values of it in our lives, and any book has the ability to do the same. The book, Walden, by Henry David Thoreau is a journal of his life that seems simple and he teaches the reader what values he has learned from that life. As he had once said, “Things do not change; we change.” And a book is a thing. The story never changes the only thing that changes in us; the outside.
What if you could live multiple times in your life? Your knowledge would be endless, and so would your wisdom of life. This knowledge is possible, because of books. A book is a persons life in one condensed object. They tell you what they have done, what they have learned, and how the will grow and that’s how you gain the knowledge of them. “If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lot; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.” - Thoreau. The bustard of other peoples life can be made into the beauty of your own; all you need to do is believe.
Open up into the world of knowledge within book and you might just be surprised in what you find.
