My Last Words...

Dear Fitz,

First of all I just wanted to thank you for making be a better writer, reader and a better person. I have compared my writing form the beginning of the year to now and I have improved a lot, I’m more descriptive and my stories are just more interesting than the ones I wrote at the beginning of the year. At the beginning of the year I really didn’t like English class because I felt that we were getting too much homework and only have a small amount of time to complete them, I had a lot of late assignments that term which didn’t help my grade. In the second term I started to get used to the class and started to like it a little more, I turned my assignments on time and got a great grade. This term I was never frustrated with the amount of work because I knew that I could do every week in a couple of days. This was my best term in terms of a grade, but it was also my best term in terms of work. I can finally say I like English class, in September if someone would tell me that in May I would like English I would’ve laughed.  Writing is something to anyone could do, but only some who write are good. I was one of those people who wrote, but my writing wasn’t good, after this year I feel like I am one of those people who write and their writing is good. After all the lessons this year like, “Comma Rules” how to write a metacognition,  how to write a haiku, and how to write a goo essay.  I will always remember to put passion in my writing which wasn’t a lesson, but Fitz told us to try it and it worked. This year was amazing even though we weren’t together for the whole year, I’m going to Fenn next year as a 9th grader, I hope that I get Fitz again as my English teacher because of all the things he has taught me in a year. If I’m not in his class next year I will be sad that I won’t be able to sit in the cherrywood stools and spin around while Fitz is trying to teach a lesson, or being thrown to the couches by Fitz because he’s trying to teach a lesson. I don’t want to say goodbye, but I know that there’s a possibility that I won’t be in the same English class, so here it goes. Goodbye Fitz, I had a great year I will always everything that you have thought us, I will always remember all the bad jokes you always repeated even though we knew what you were going to say. I will always remember when we got you so mad you bursted out of class and after that day we never disrespected you ever again. Have a great summer and please just take a break writing because you write way to much. Thank you for great year.

I do not know what you have received.”
Antonio Porchia

This may be the worst the worst trades in MLB history. It was February 11, 2020, and red Sox decided that they wanted to make the dumbest trade in baseball history, they traded their best player Mookie Betts who is an all star and MVP in 2018 to the dodgers, alongside David price who has had some rough years, but still is a great pitcher. I don’t think you wanna heard who they traded these two player for, as i say they traded them for a bag of chips. The Red Sox received an injured outfielder Alex Verdugo and two prospects. Now you will think I’m joking around, but sadly I’m not, this was the worst trade I have ever witness, and I’ve been in this world for 13 years.

Mount Dish...

Pain of Chores

“Ever look at a sink full of dishes and think, “Why don’t I just bury these in the backyard?” — Gina Barreca

Have you ever just seen  someone get mad because of little thing and you didn’t understand why they were so mad? When your parents are done washing the dishes and you come out of no where with that dirty plate, you can just see their blood boiling. It was when I had to wash the dishes after we just had a Christmas party when I felt the pain my parents felt for years. It was like volcano of dirty dishes, and they were just waiting to ruin someone’s day.

Solitary Walk

A walk  through darkness leads to the most beautiful light that will make feel free. A cold and dark morning, I haven’t slept in hours my eyes look darker than the sky. Im looking for a way to clear my mind, I’m exhausted but I can’t fall asleep...

Great Connections on the Ocean...

Nature Journal

“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”

-Albert Einstein

Nature can bring family together. It was a time spent in the ocean that made my family come together. When  my family and I took a trip on a banana boat it made us see how important we were to each other. It was  an amazing experience.

The Best Type of Reading...

Reading Log

Choice of reading has been way better than reading a book that the teacher assigns. I really like it because I can choose the book I want to read which makes me want to read it even more. Sometime when teachers assign books for the class I don't read it because I want I only read it because I have to. When I get to choose the book I read I feel more motivated to read it rather than a teacher telling me to read a book of their choice not mine.

Kid Vs. Bear

Narrative Story

“You don’t have to run faster than the bear to get away. You just have to run faster than the guy next to you.”  - Jim Butcher

Saturday night the stars were out and the moon was shining. nothing to do in a house so we decided to go out in the woods and play manhunt. would we regret making this decision. It was around 10 of us, we decided to play manhunt in the woods, little did we know there was something in the woods that did not like us running through the woods. It was really dark outside it felt like we were in a horror movie. We had to use our flash light form our phones to see where we were going. Since we where in the woods we had to come up with some boundaries because we didn’t want to loose anyone.

Please Not Now!

"Baseball was, is, and always will be the best game in the world to me." - Babe Ruth

Why does this have to happen at this time. Why now, baseball is suppose to start soon, but it looks like I wont have a season this year. This gets me upset because I have been working so hard to get ready and to play in one of the best AAU tournaments in Massachusetts. If you have keeping up with my work you will see that I wrote a piece about my season starting and how exited I was about it.
